Hommage à Gustav Mahler.

From an old diary of mine. It consists completely of drawings (ink on paper).
"Was mir das Felsgebirg erzählt": This is title which Gustav Mahler originally had in mind when he composed the first movement of his Symphony No. 3 in d minor. (At least this is what conductor Bruno Walter once reported).

All those drawings have been made spontaneously without much thinking. As it turned out they tended to arrange themselves in cycles. There is a series of "stations"; one is called "anode / cathode", another one is named "gestures", and there are "alluvial", "cathedral", "sound", current", "formation", "traces" and some others.

All those sketches have been made spontaneously without much thinking. As it turned out they tended to arrange themselves in cycles. There is a series of "stations"; one is called "gestures", and there are "alluvial", "cathedral", "sound", current", "formation", "traces" and some others. One of the most extended cycles is named "anode / cathode". The title refers to the fact that the image is about tensions.

There is a series of Hommages à Gustav Mahler; one set is called "anode / cathode", another one is named "gestures", and there are "alluvial", "cathedral", "sound", current", "formation", "traces", and then we have a certain number of pieces which I named "growth" because they seem to illustrate biological processes.
