It's good to be back in the Chitown.

These are the streets I know and when I roll there the lovin' comes easy.

It's 'my people' you know what I'm sayin?

New Orleans was a great time...

a 'rough shoot' but a great time.

I shot N'awlins as an 'outsider looking in.'

I shoot Chicago as an 'insider looking out.'

I'm down with Chicago's soul.

I know how it works and thinks.

How it loves and hates.

The 'vibe' is deep within' me.

That vibe is what makes these photographs resonate.

It gives them something that no amount of 'photoshop' or processing could.

The two pieces of gear that I couldn't do this without?

Heart and soul.

I'm on a 'Mission from God.'

Friday means FANCY DRESS FRIDAY for those of you who don;t know please check out the link and join in!!!

I haven;t dressed up in a suit for a while, and i haven;t done a clone for a while, so here you go.

D200, Sigma 10-20, Tripod, SB-600 on 1/4 power though umbrella, fancy dress items left over from friends wedding. oh and no photoshopping was used, i promise ;-)

I have always enjoyed the Blues Brothers in fact I would say it is the film I have watched the most ever.I particularly like the fact that the two litter police are in the same shot outside a sweet shop waiting for some poor punter to drop a sweet wrapper so they can dish out a £50 fine.

The Logos Hope visited Cardiff for two weeks in May/June 2009. It is on a mission to bring 'knowledge, help and hope to the people of the world', and is run by Christian volunteers.

I visited on May 30th.
