We live in a somewhat green household, we recycle and compost and various other things. However, we do not have green thumbs (note the overgrown lawn). So when a strange plant started growing out of the compost we just figured it was a weed. little did we realise that it would grow into this monstrous pumpkin plant that threatens to take over our yard.

The beard got a makeover today, it was far too bushy and the face I saw in the mirror wasn't mine. So, the goatee is back.

It's also a grogeous day in Melbourne today, great excuse for some gratuitous self-pics (it's been a while).

I almost dismissed this pic as a misfire and deleted it, then I noticed that the auto-focus had done something a bit strange to the plants in the background. It's like they're looming, ready to attack because I have my eyes closed.

Diese Kamera begleitet mich zur Zeit. Eine freundliche Leihgabe meines Sohnes Dominik. Leider ist die Elektronik meiner digitale Kamera (Minolta Dimage S414) bei einem Unfall zu Schaden gekommen. Perfekt wäre eine digitale Spiegelreflexkamera - wobei das vorerst wohl ein Traum bleiben wird.

No I'm not sleepy, I have a viral eye infection. Not that you can really tell in this photo.

You'll notice the sebaceous cyst is still lingering. I'm thinking about naming it. If it's going to be a permanent fixture on my face it's gotta have a name, right?

The penguins are the main attraction at Phillip Island, but you're not allowed to take pictures of them. Hence the guy in a penguin suit standing outside. Dora, Linda and Kiki just had to get a picture with him.
