Well here is a little History of my Sewing :)

I started sewing and knitting with my Grandmother at a very young age

Then as a Teenager, I kinda left it all behind

Then in 1999 when my Grandmother passed away I felt the urge to start sewing again
I guess to keep my Grandmother close by and to honor her passing and pass on my
teachings to others

So in 1999 thats when I 1st started selling my creations, I missed my Granny sooo much and
still do and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be where I am today <3

Since 1999 I have sewn for so many different dolls, from Porcelain Antique Dolls
and Cabinet Dolls, to Vinyl Dolls and just about every size BJD there is

But I always felt like I was searching for "something" ... I never managed to settle on a doll
and sew for them for more than 6 months before !!

I even side lined into miniature bear making and sold under the name Threads-To-Teds
but this was too hard on my hands, so bears had to go :(

For those of you that do not know, I try to make all my Fashions OOAK
and everything is HAND SEWN ... I do not use a machine, thats why I am
very slow .. LOL ... but I am also a perfectionist :)

Then in Dec 2009 along came Jemima and I was enthralled by the Tinies
and thats where my Heart still lies .... I so love sewing for the Tinies, now
I feel it impossible to sew for anything bigger than a PukiFee / LY ... LOL

Well, I think I really bonded with theTiny BJD as my passion is also Dolls House Miniatures
and this size doll also works so well with 1:12th scale ... so I get to combine my
2 loves :)

Anyways, all the other dolls have come and gone but I have staid true to the tinies
so in Feb 2010 I sold my 1st ever tiny fashion

To celebrate me actually sticking at something for 3 whole years .. LOL
I am having this small Give A Way / Competition

oh and on another note .... I am also working as a Textiles Teacher for the past 7 yrs ... Teaching sewing to 11 - 18
year olds, my Granny would be so pleased that all she taught me is still being passed on :)

Jemima's Turn To Model, it was nice sewing in this size again, I have missed it :) ..... & I do so love Jemima !! She has her original blue eyes back in, I keep changing them to brown, but I always seem to go back to her originals :)

Little Marmalade Blythe is off to live with Jane and we traded, Incoming to me is Original Vampire Miel .... so now I can sew in LY / PukiFee size again :)
As we are concerned re income next year with changes to my Hubbys Job, he says I should keep all my dolls for now as I need them for sewing models ... I think my doll collecting is over for now, but at least I can sew in lots of sizes next year so we can pay the bills !!
