A shot that was well planned, but poorly executed! I could blame the 20mph wind gusts or the turbulent atmosphere or that I was using my little 90mm ETX and not my beefy 10" SCT but those are all excuses..
I've tried for over a week to make this shot and if I had another week maybe I could get it right, but that's not the purpose of this challenge, I challenged myself and I failed but I got close! Now I know what to do better next time.

A size comparison between a Coke can and the Canon 70-200 f2.8 LII IS with the Canon 2x Extender attached. This combination produces shots with wonderful bokeh (here is an example) but it adds substancial weight to a backpack and of course the maximum aperture when shooting in this combination is just f5.6 (and yes, that is a Chinese Coke can).

Strobist: one 580EX II left of camera and one to the right, shooting at a 45 degree angle at the lens. Also one hell of a huge silver reflector above behind to kill shadows. I missed the top of the can somehow.
