Just back from a trip to LA, which reminded me of one of the places I visited there on my last trip - the Getty Center. The museum itself is so cleverly designed that it is really the star of its own collection.

Não é muito difícil ser pessimista e dizer que nunca conseguirá nada, talvez seja fácil até demais. É, sou pessimista mesmo e admito isso, mas que tal dizer chega? Já passou pela sua cabeça em como você poderia ter mudado o curso da sua vida, por conta daquelas escolhas que você julgou dizendo "Que não valiam de nada"?
Confesso que me sinto frustrado as vezes por ter feito isso e também por não ter dito "chega".
Realmente, viver a vida intensamente não é nada fácil, mas não custa tentar vive-la de uma forma só sua.

Parabéns para o meu primo que tirou essa linda foto, eu gostei muito. Pois bem, Oi a todos e espero que todos estejam bem.
O dia hoje foi diferente comigo e me resolveu fazer umas surpresas muito agradáveis por sinal, mas não vamos falar de hoje, pode ser? (hahaha).
Mais uma de muitas imagens que tirei no bosque da minha cidade com o meu primo e minha irmã. Juro pra vocês que quando vi essa imagem no visor da câmera eu não me agradei muito, mas quando passei pra o pc e a editei, nossa, se tornou uma das minhas preferias.
Como já disse e torno a dizer, nunca vou esquecer dessas férias maravilhosas.
Peço obrigado ao meu primo que fez essa foto acontecer, Lucas Quincó obrigado e a minha irmã Gabriela Quincó também.
Nesse dia foi uma coisa meio imprevisível querer ir pro bosque, eu só disse que ia e pronto, fomos. Foi uma coisa sem muitos planos do jeito que eu gosto.
Enfim, vejo vocês depois. Até mais.

This is a photograph of my side table in my room I took awhile ago. I took it with my phone because it made me laugh how all the things that mean something to me ended up together. The frame holds a photo of my roommates and our kitten- they are being ridiculous and making a wonky one eyed face our cat always makes. It perfectly sums up our silly family full of love. I like to use black markers whenever I can- drawing, writing, whatever. I sneak them in my studio work whenever I can. The Sophie Calle book says something about me because she has been an important influence on my art education. I could read this book forever. The things on this table are just my support in life to take risks in every way!

This is a photograph I took of a completed art project (which I can't remember the details about), in which I painstakingly embroidered a clothespin onto a Starbucks coffee sleeve. I think it speaks to my determination as well as my stubbornness, as I recall my fingers being sore for days afterwards.

This photo is of my home..essentially. I live just up the street from the kennebecasis river in New Brunswick and this picture reminds me of home, in the summer we would swim here (getting tough feet from the rocks) I'd play on the beach and the nearby park with my friends in the spring and fall and in the winter if it was cold enough we would go skating. I'm used to doing things that are available in nature and not paying for the public pool/skating rink like you have to in Guelph. It really has made me appreciate the wonderful things nature gave me. The low view giving the huge expanse of the river is also very nice because it represents to me the massive amount of space that is just around you in the maritimes in a way that it is not in a lot of Ontario.

This is a picture of a giant cookie that I decorated to look like Starry Night for my roommate's birthday and set up while she was sleeping. It came about as part of an inside joke/dare. I think this image says that I care about my friends, I'm creative, and I love milking inside jokes for all they're worth. (It also says I'm a little messy and almost forgot to make a sign)

The photograph I chose was one I took this summer at my cottage. It is one of my favourite places in the world. I love it so much because when I am there my mind is in bliss and I don’t need to worry about anything. My mind is filled with nostalgia as soon as I drive up the gravel road. So many warm and wonderful feelings come flooding back.

I usually separate my art photography from my personal photography. Often personal photographs are to preserve memory or to slow down my walks so that I notice and appreciate my surroundings. This photograph started as a mundane picture of deer in a field, but my interest in experimental photography pushed it further, and this is the result of a bleach trial on negatives. I utilize science in many of my photographs and this was a much more intuitive approach. It also incorporates my exploration of nature and my need to record what I find.
