Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. De kleine Italianen waren aan de beurt om hun rondjes op het circuit te rijden. En dan is het pas echt leuk als er zo'n klassieke Fiat 600 meedoet met de snellere nieuwe kleintjes, zoals de Abarth 500. Dan is het verschil van snelheid pas goed te zien.

It was the turn of the small Italian cars to drive around the track of Zandvoort. Cute to see that the classic Fiat 600 still does his best to stay with the group. The much faster and newer Abarth 500 is from the same family, but the difference between this brothers is clearly visible.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Er waren veel Abarth's aanwezig, niet alleen uit eigen land, maar ook een aantal uit België en Duitsland. Dit is hoe je hem het meeste tegenkomt; wit met rode Abarth-striping. Gelijk herkenbaar.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2011. Op het eind van de regenachtige middag verlieten de Italiaanse supercars langzaam het terrein. Ook deze 458 maakte zich op voor de reis terug naar huis. Ciao, bella!

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Twee prachtige F430's, zij aan zij. Normaal staan ze met dit weer lekker droog in een garage, maar voor dit Italiaanse evenement werd een uitzondering gemaakt. Niet alleen de bezoekers waren doorweekt van de regen, ook de Italiaanse supercars.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Op het kletsnatte en gladde circuit van Zandvoort, waar de Italiaanse paardjes helaas niet voluit konden gaan. De Italiaanse zon bleef jammer genoeg ook weg. Een 458 Italia, 550 Maranello en een 360 Modena in omstandigheden waar ze niet dagelijks mee te maken krijgen.

On the very wet and slippery circuit of Zandvoort. Unfortunately, the Italian supercars couldn't give everything of their power. Also, the Italian sun was nowhere to be seen. At the picture: a 458 Italia, 550 Maranello and a 360 Modena in non-daily conditions.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Klein, stoer en nog steeds één van de leukste bommetjes van dit moment. In het rood zie je ze ook niet vaak overigens.

It's small, it's cute, but at the same time a tough looking car. And you don't see him that much in red. You'll have probably enough fun with it on the track.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Die man daar rechts in die Porsche-trui heeft het duidelijk koud. Daarnaast waren er veel paraplu's, maar opvallend genoeg ook nog veel Ferrari's. Al had deze California al teveel regen te verduren gehad. Op naar huis. Ja, het was hoogzomer in Nederland zoals we gewend zijn.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Eén van de meest gave en luidruchtigste auto's van die dag. Dit jaar niet meer op Italiaanse kentekenplaten uit Maranello maar op importplaten. Deze Ferrari is geweldig. Het geluid van de V12, de uitstraling, alles!

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Wat een Franse Simca 1000 doet tussen al het Italiaanse spul op een Italiaanse dag weet ik niet, maar hij deed toch vrolijk mee op het natte circuit van Zandvoort.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Hoe prachtig de 458 Italia ook is, deze blijft een schoonheid. De zwarte velgen maken het af en gelukkig heeft de eigenaar gekozen om voorop een sticker als kenteken te plakken. Ernaast ook een lekkere legende: de Maranello.

Italia-A-Zandvoort 2012. Na een hele dag regen en een onverwachte stortbui komt zonneschijn. Voor even was de lucht blauw! De meeste bezoekers waren inmiddels al naar huis gevlucht. Vandaar dat het hier op de foto zo rustig is.

Italianen op hun best met een paar Italiaanse droomwagens ertussen, zoals de Alfa, Maserati en de vierpersoons-Ferrari. De Lancia-Chrysler is natuurlijk net zo Italiaans als een dikke Amerikaanse pizza. Van links naar rechts:
