EODMU Five Det 13 is in Australia to participate in Exercise TALISMAN SABER 2005. TALISMAN SABER is a combined training exercise, designed to train Australian and US Forces in planning and conducting Combined Task Force operations and to help improve Australian Defense Forces/ United States (ADF/US) combat readiness and inter-operability. It involves more than 6,000 Australian and 11,000 US personnel from Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and Special Operations units.
