I got a new pair of shoes... but they were the wrong size, so I'm sending them back to correct that.

Anyway, I just thought I'd try my hand at some detail/product photography, and you know what? I really enjoy it!

-Vivitar 285hv camera left; 1/2 power; in medium softbox
-Alien Bees AB800 above and to the right of subject; 1/4th power, I believe; bare
-Nikon SB-26 camera left a little behind and below subject; 1/16th power

Holland is known for its tulips, and Keukenhof is "Ground Zero" for Dutch Tulip Mania. It's a giant, 32 hectare park with over seven million tulip plants, located near Lisse, Netherlands, about halfway between The Hague (Den Haag) and Amsterdam, near the coast of the North Sea.

There are several thick glass doors in 1 Union Station (home of Rhode Island Public Radio) and at certain times of the day, they make pretty prism beams of light on the carpets, sometimes real big ones; this is near 20ft long!
