A Ballonfish hides in a 'pothole' on the reef. While many of these holes are interconnected to create a network of passageways, this one doesn't leave the occupant anywhere to go.

I was able to get down closer, and get some close-up shots without disturbing it.

Un poco antes del aparcamiento de la Ponta de São Lourenço hay una rotonda que te permite ir hacia un mirador situado entre la Ponta do Rostro y la Ponta do Castelo, que es la que vimos en fotos anteriores, como la del todoterreno.

Como dije en una foto anterior, el gobierno autónomo de Madeira ha invertido bastante en hacer miradores como este repartidos por toda la isla en un intento de atraer más turismo a la isla, y han puesto el foco en un tipo de turismo distinto al que podemos ver en otras islas.

Descartado prácticamente el de sol y playa por las condiciones del terreno, la idea es explotar el extraordinario entorno natural para que sean los paisajes y los senderos los puntos más atractivos para los visitantes.
