Holding it's value seemingly quite well for a 1974 motor is this near immaculate Ford 'A' Series Dropside truck seen last week for sale alongside the old A50 at Blythe Bridge, Stoke on Trent.
The 'A' series filled the gap in the UK Ford range between the largest of the Transits and the smallest of the 'D' Series and could I believe be petrol or Diesel powered. From memory, most got a six cylinder version of the Transit's 'York' Diesel which was equally difficult to start in cold weather.

1971 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller – GUV 582J

This Minor Traveller was in fabulous condition when it was spotted at the 2013 Morris Minor Day at Crich Tramway Village on the 10th of May 2013. This particular Morris was made in 1971 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 7th of July 1971. It does have the original engine, a 1.1 Litre (1098cc) Straight 4 BMC A-Series engine which runs on petrol. This 1000, when seen, had only one small rust patch and that was on the passenger’s door. The colour is thought to be Limeflower.

This Minor 1000 was in excellent condition when it was spotted at the 2013 Morris Minor Day at Crich Tramway Village on the 10th of May 2013. This particular Morris was made in 1956 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 2nd of June 1956. It does have the original engine, a 1.1 Litre (1098cc) Straight 4 BMC A-Series engine which runs on petrol. This 1000 was an incredibly early 1000 as production started in 1956 and this is the year this one was made.

This Mayfair Mini was in very nice condition when it was spotted in the car park of the 2013 Bakewell Showground Spectacular on the 5th of May 2013. This particular Mini Mayfair was made in 1993 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 24th of April 1993. It still has the original 1.3 Litre (1275cc) A-Series Straight 4 engine which runs on petrol. The car was in very original condition when seen and looked good in the Green.

This Midget was in stunning condition when it was spotted at Carfest North 2012. It was made in 1972 but it was first registered in the UK on the 13th of April 1973 so was late being registered. It has the original 1.3 Litre (1275cc) Straight 4 A-Series engine propelling it along which runs on Petrol. This particular car wasn’t part of Carfest itself and was spotted in the visitor’s field.
