Como se hizo: Imagen panorámica procedente de dos RAW formato horizontal, y unidos horizontalmente. Realmente una foto muy particular desde su comienzo. Estaba lloviendo por lo cual yo estaba en medio del sembrado, paraguas en mano y la camara como podía(mi mujer y mis hijos esperando en el coche), pero ya conocemos las penurias de este hobbie.

Hoy hace dos años que comencé mi andadura por flickr, quiero quedarme con los momentos buenos, y con la cantidad de gente (inmerecida creo yo) que sigue mi trabajo. En esta ocasión no quiero recordar a nadie, porque seguro que se me olvidan muchos.
Lo único que puedo decir es que, no me arrepiento de la experiencia.

Agradezco a todos vuestro apoyo y feedbak sin el cual no hubiera conseguido progresar. Y por ello tengo fuerzas de seguir creciendo y compartiendo mi visión de los diversos motivos de mis fotografías.

Making off: Panoramic view of two RAW horizontal images merged also horizontally. This was a very special image from the start. It was raining and I was in the middle of the field, umbrella in my hand and struggling to hold my camera (wife and kids waiting in the car) - but all of this comes with the job I guess.

Today it's two years since I started on Flickr. I want to stress all those good moments and the number of people that follow my work (deservedly, I think). On this occasion I am not giving names of the people I would like to thank because I'm sure that I'd forget many.
The only thing I can say is that I don't regret joining this community.

My thanks to all of you for your support and feedback because without them I wouldn't have been able to grow as a photographer. Thank you for the incentive you give me to keep learning and sharing my view of the different subjects portrayed in my photos.

Por un lamentable error, he mi última fotografía, la reemplazo y pido disculpas sobre todo los que la visitasteis, comentasteis e incluso favoriteaisteis.

Como se hizo: Imagen captada a pulso y procedente de un sólo archivo RAW, en una de las galerías del Anfiteatro Romano de Itálica. Espero poder expresar la sensación que pudieron sentir los gladiadores en su momento. Pasada a blanco y negro con método ColorLab y virada sepia con un duotono.

El Anfiteatro de Itálica, fue construido en el Norte de la que fue la primera ciudad romana en Hispania, Itálica, situada en el actual término municipal de Santiponce (provincia de Sevilla), en Andalucía (España), que fue fundada en el año 206 A.D..
Se construyo en la época del emperador Adriano, aproximadamente entre los años 117-138 y fue uno de los mas grandes de todo el imperio romano.
Con una capacidad de 25.000 espectadores y unas medidas totales de 156 x 134 m., disponia de tres niveles de graderío. Bajo el nivel del antiguo suelo de madera del anfiteatro había un foso de servicio para los diferentes espectáculos de gladiadores, denominados munus gladiatorum y luchas contra fieras, llamadas venationes.
El graderío, cavea estaba dividido en tres secciones, la ima, media y summa cavea, separadas por unos pasillos anulares denominados praecinctiones. La primera, la ima cavea, disponía de 6 gradas, con 8 puertas de acceso, y estaba reservada a una clase dirigente. La segunda, la media cavea, estaba destinada a la población más humilde, tenía 12 gradas y 14 puertas de acceso. La summa cavea, cubierta por un toldo, estaba reservada solamente para albergar a niños y mujeres.
El anfiteatro contaba además con varias salas dedicadas al culto de Némesis y de Dea Caelestis.

Hadrian was generous to his settled town, which he made a colonia; he added temples, including a Trajaneum venerating Trajan, and rebuilt public buildings. Italica’s amphitheater seated 25,000 spectators—half as many as the Flavian Amphitheatre in Rome— and was the third largest in the Roman Empire. The city's Roman population at the time is estimated to have been only 8000. The games and theatrical performances funded by the local aristocracy, who filled the positions of magistrate, were a means of establishing status: the size of the amphitheater shows that the local elite was maintaining status that extended far beyond Italica itself.

Como se hizo: Imagen panorámica procedente de tres RAW formato vertical, y unidos horizontalmente. Blanco y negro por método Color Lab.

Como se hizo: Imagen panorámica procedente de dos RAW formato vertical, y unidos horizontalmente.
La verdad es que fue un día con mucha suerte, sinceramente creo que llegue en el momento que más lucia el Alcázar. El día entero fue muy bueno, y ya ire mostrando más fotos.
La imagen esta practicamente sin tratar.

Panoramica compuesta por dos tomas, de la cara norte del Alcázar visto desde el rio.

La situación del Alcázar de Segovia, sobre una roca labrada por los ríos Eresma y Clamores, indica el origen militar de esta fortaleza durante siglos inexpugnable.

El testimonio más antiguo de la existencia del Alcázar de Segovia es un documento de principios del siglo XII, fechado en 1122, poco después de la reconquista de la ciudad por Alfonso VI, que menciona la fortaleza como un castro sobre el Eresma. En una carta algo posterior (1155) ya se le da el nombre de Alcázar. No obstante, es muy probable que la fortificación existiese en tiempos más remotos, quizá desde la dominación romana, pues en recientes excavaciones se ha encontrado sillares de granito análogos a los del Acueducto. En la Edad Media, el Alcázar, tanto por la belleza de su situación y su indiscutible seguridad militar, como por la proximidad a famosos cazaderos en los bosques serranos, se convirtió en una de las residencias favoritas de los Reyes de Castilla.

The site of the Alcazar of Segovia, on the top of a rock shaped by the rivers Eresma and Clamores, shows the military origins of this fortress which, for centuries, was impregnable.

The oldest testimony we have of the Alcázar is a document dating from the early days of the 12th century (1122), a short time after the town had been recaptured by Alfonso VI, which refers to the fortress as a hill-fort on the Eresma. A short time later, in a letter of 1155, it was already being referred to as "Alcázar". However, it is more than probable that the fortress had existed in earlier times, possibly since the Roman occupation, because granite blocks similar to those of the Aqueduct have been found in the course of recent excavations. In residencies of the monarchs of Castile, partly due to the beauty of its location and its unquestionable military secureness, and partly for its proximity to the famous hunting-grounds in the mountain forests.
