The leaves of Thimbleberry (Rubus parviflorus) are a very rich green with a touch of reddish when they are just emerging.

One of the Turkey Vultures in the group flew by at a low level for a photo. The spots in the photo are rain drops, not bugs or sensor spots.

I was standing on a bluff by the Columbia River when this Canada Goose flew by just above the water below me. There was some vegetation in the way, but liked it anyway.
