Daruma Daijin

What What posted a photo:

Daruma Daijin is the awesomely angry mascot for a small chain of popular Osaka restaurants called Daruma. The chain specializes in kushikatsu, a dish made of meat, seafood or vegetables coated in egg flour and breadcrumbs and deep-fried. Customers order whichever sort of kushi, or skewers, they want, and then dip them in a big pot of communal sauce. The restaurant is great, theres about 4 (I think) mascots around Osaka and a massive head on dotonbori road. If you wait long enough you can see the eyes bulge out, the jaw go up and down and hear his voice warn you against double dipping in the shared sauce. It makes him sooooo angry. www.idleidol.net
