These tiny things are adorable. Even with the penny there for comparison, you still can't see in a picture just how small they really look. Leather gloves for babies! The brand name, Dent's, is imprinted on the buttons. I looked online and it says they've been making gloves from England since 1777. My grandfather was born in 1916, so that's about how old these little things are.

A gaggle of vintage children! The older kid's hat looks like a pith helmet, though it's not. Safari time! This is also back when they dressed little boys as girls. I would have figured little gramps there was a girl if I didn't already know better (he's left/front). This must have been a favorite place to get photos taken, since I've seen that same elaborate chair in quite a few other shots.

Normally I dislike baby pictures (and there are quite a few in my family boxes of photos), so I usually push those aside and don't scan them...well, unless there's something unique going on besides the baby. I love the look on this dog's face. This is my grandpa in 1916. Globe, Arizona.

I normally hate baby pictures, but it's good to be thorough. Besides, I like the glow from all the white against the darkness. 1916.
