I started shooting the exterior when, a few minutes later, this old, weathered biker with long hair and a beard came out and started talking to me. He took me into the bike yard and showed me around, including a bike that had been used in a James Bond film. Then he took me inside the garage where I met his colleague, Max, who was a spray artist and was working on his trike. We chatted for a bit about bikes and spray artistry. I asked to take a few photos of them in their element, which they were both pretty chill about. I mentioned that most people frown upon photos being taken of themselves or their propery, so I was happy he hadn't told me to move on and had in fact let me look around. He said &quot;Yeah man, well we're pretty mellow. We've been through it all and are just doing our shit now&quot;. They seemed really happy.
