We are a house of gluten-free eaters, so, any kind of bread made with gluten-free flours is a special treat! But this one blew us all away, it was fantastic, better than gluten in fact.
I made them because our brother, his wife, and their FANTASTIC baby girl visited us the other day.
P.S. Mom's pumpkin pie is in the background.

The usual group (my Dad, my sister, and I) went to the Anchorage Folk Festival last night, specifically to see the Hanneke Cassel trio. It was awesome!
My sister and I have always loved Hanneke's music so it was really exciting to see her perform live. She's got a powerful sound.

Oh! white dawning morning, oh! Tears of healing rain. With hope all adorning, please come to me again.

I didn't think that I would get a good shot of Simon, because through most of the show I couldn't see him past the heads.
But... I craned my own head over and took a couple of shots every once in a while, and it turns out that I did get a good one.
I really love this shot.

This was the best concert I've seen since Crooked Still played at the Wendy Williamson in 2009!
The Bee Eaters are an absolutely inspiring band! I was enthralled through most of the concert (even though there were some heads in my way).
I love Vagabond Blues. There's nothing better than the littleness of the venue and the enthusiasm of everyone in attendance.

I went on a very pleasant little photo outing with two of my brothers today. They kinda put me out of my box, I walked on paths that I've never walked before, and saw things I hadn't seen, which is always fun. Its good to have someone to pull you out of your comfort zone sometimes.

Well the warmth is gone all twisted with confusion, and all has come to freeze.
But ah! was it sweet while the dreaming still lasted, that’s what I’ll remember.
