The Spirit of British Columbia backing out of Tsawwassen terminal as she departs for Victoria.

Launched in 1993, the ship is one of two S-Class BC Ferries, the largest in the fleet. The 550' (167.5m) ship can carry 2,100 passengers and crew along with 470 cars.

My ride over to Vancouver Island arriving at Berth 3 at Tsawwassen Terminal.

The second of the three Coastal-class ships to join the BC Ferries fleet, Coastal Inspiration entered service in June 2008 on the Duke Point-Tsawwassen route. The 160 m German-built ship can carry up to 370 vehicles and 1,650 passengers.

The last of the three Coastal-class ships to join the BC Ferries fleet, Coastal Celebration entered service in November 2008 on the Tswwassen-Swartz Bay route.

The 160 m German-built ship can carry up to 370 vehicles and 1,650 passengers.

Like her sister ships she contains a mysterious "Deck 5" to which no passengers are ever admitted.

The temple was begun by Titus in 79 C.E. after the death of his father, Vespasian. Titus’ brother, Domitian, completed the temple in approximately 87 C.E.

Built in 1973 and designed by Musson Cattell Mackey architects. From 1973-2001 it was the largest hotel in Vancouver and was the site of the Bill Clinton-Boris Yeltsin conference in 1993.
