My "friend" at Currumbin beach having breakfast, I hope she leaves something for the young one inthe nest. It is a wonderful untidy mess but is home to at least 1 chick.

The Eagle Has Landed

This chap comes every day to this huge rock at the edge of one of the local surfing beaches. He swoops in and arounds surfers to catch his breakfast. Hard to catch him/her as I would like but although not too detailed, I couldn't resist posting it. There is a wonderful bulky untidy nest the other side of the beach on top of a steel pole.I presume he is a sea eagle, too big for an osprey.
