Love this one. Was taken on Christmas Day too so reminds me of family fun. Really like the eccentric colours, the sea is beautiful, the almost moon-like sand in the bottom right, and the bank of cloud which somehow has sat there perfectly to compliment the vanishing point.

Far, far high up on my list of favourite HDRs. Paul helped me do the processing on this, actually he did most of it. I was young, I was learning. I wasn't young.

Was so good going to the Smuggler's Cove tunnel to take this picture as it's a place full of awesome childhood memories, all this photo malarkey gave me a great reason to go back!

Took this with Paul on a photo-taking trip to Shaldon. This is his version of the HDR tonemapping and post-processing, different crop to mine and with the disorted perspective correction.

Fancied having a go at one of those soft flowing water long exposure HDR type shots, not bad for a first effort. Sky needs some improvement but the bottom half is good.

Absolutely brilliant this one, I really love the foreground rocks and the light coming from the sundown behind the Ness. Some reet lovely green too.

Teignmouth and Ness from Shaldon Beach

Big fan of the composition here, using the full effect of the 10-20 lens to get in a decent amount of beach, sky, water, the Ness, and Teignmouth from over the water.

Again, the HDR processing was a collaboration with the very fine and colourful Paul.

Footsteps, bright light in the distance, lens flare... it doesn't get cheesier. Spiritual!

Fantastic bit of sky above the pier in Teignmouth. Totally mood-tastic. Looking back at pictures like this make me wish I had my D80 back then and the opportunity to HDR skies like this. So beautiful.

Another experiment on the ghostly haunting long exposures, this one taken on the beach in Teignmouth. I like this quite a bit, now that I've got a D-SLR I'll probably have to get round to trying this again and coming up with something that looks even better.

Hey look, we have summer in England sometimes! Shorts at night!

That was suuuuuch a scary long drop over the edge there. We'd got through a fence onto the edge of a cliff. I meant that face.

As much as I want to laugh at this for being such a silly picture, I love it. It's just excellent. Orange sky, who'd a thunk it?
