&lt;p&gt;This is a de-fished image from the Nikon 10.5mm fisheye that I shot while holding my tripod out as far as I dared over the edge.  You can really see how it got its name.  Horseshoe bend is a very cool place but it's not for people with a fear of heights.  I'm typically a wreck in places like this, but felt strangely at ease on this day.  Probably because you could inch your way up to the edge slowly and you could always step right back if necessary.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I would've loved to stay in this area for sunset, but we had to hoof it back to Zion to beat the oncoming storm.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
