A pic a day...

I was sitting in a very cool bar (cool as in cold, not trendy) in Paphos harbour in Cyprus, whilst on my holiday. And as I looked out across the bay I saw this lucky person having the time of their life! So, I grabbed my litlle point and shoot camera from my bag and snapped, hoping it would come out well. I love the way the blue colours make me smile. I must admit, I missed not using my dslr, but it was just too big to take and carry, especially with the way customs are at the moment.

Having chatted for what seems like forever via flickr, Elispe and I were lucky enough to meet up whilst we were both holidaying in San Francisco...

My first glimpse of Alcatraz. I love the way the white clouds are framing this and complementing the blue sky and greeny/blue choppy water.

Today, I went out walking with my camera and Broken Haiku, of course. It was a beautiful day, weather wise so we made the most of it since it has been raining quite a bit since I got here.... I managed to take quite a few shots, but I really liked the way this one came out.

I was practising with my dslr to see if I could get the timing right to catch the wave crashing on the rocks. I think I snapped this a wee bit too soon.... oh well.

Gajje's wife, Trollbottom loves to collect rocks, stones and anything similar, so she was in her element here.

I loved it here too, so calm, peaceful and picturesque....

Although, the reflection colours are different because the sun was brighter and the sky bluer in the "distorted water" shot :(
