I've been wanting to combine these two illustrations by Sir. John Tenniel ever since I saw them. I'm pretty satisfied how it turned out.

I made this sculpture to make the painting in the room of my Beauty and the Beast paper sculpture. I photographed, printed, and used the print to make the painting. So what you see in the final image of this piece in my Beauty and the Beast is a picture of a picture. When I saw George Stubbs' paintings, I had to recreate it for my piece. It just seems perfect.

These roses are made with tissue paper. I dyed the paper with watercolor paint. For the reflections, I made some simple paper cut roses, photographed, printed, attached it behind the mirror frame.

The beast's cuffs are made with vellum. I embossed some lace design on the paper. The beauty's dress was made of painted paper.

I created this image based on the story from 1946 film, La belle et la bête by Jean Cocteau. There are very important objects for the beast in his film. They are roses, his horse, his magic mirror, magic gloves, and the key to his treasure pavilion. Another important thing of the story is that they get together after 7 o'clock in the evening.

This is a bas-relief paper sculpture. I made this entirely out of paper. I painted some paper, and used it to make the dress, golden objects, and roses.

Paper sculpture size-------11" x 14"
The thickness is just over 1.5".
