If I were a superhero I'd like to be an eagle-eyed super sleuth... able to spot a clue at a 1000 yards... follow the scent of a suspect through a superstore without being distracted by all the superbargains... and of course out-Sherlock Sherlock!

And I'm sure I'm copycatting someone here - but I don't recall who... so better add super memory to that list of powers I need!

The nearest thing I could find to lace was this leaf earring... We ought to have been in Bath today where I was counting on getting a photo of something Jane Austen related with lace... but the weather was too dull and damp to make the trip worthwhile...
