My son and I pulled this together this weekend. We planted tomatoes, green beans, eggplant and carrots. :-)

PZ 680 Color Protection film in my Spectra pro.

I learned a lot while doing these lifts:

Hot water out of the tap works fine.

Cut the sides off inside the little dots (imprints) or the emulsion won't come off and you'll screw it up.

After the emulsion is removed, use the transparent front of the picture to move the emulsion from the water to the canvas.

The chemicals in the pod are blue. :-)

That's me on the right, by far the least hip guy in this picture. My son Ethan took this picture. He was also excited to to talk to Dave.

Ethan thought this was all very cool. :-)

We’ve been incredibly busy this week, painting and moving things around the house. I’ve taken over the spare bedroom and made it my creative/photography space. That face is 9’X9’ and has been rolled up for a few years. I’m so glad that I didn’t throw it away, it took me forever to make and it’s still one of my favorite projects. I also get to display all of my cameras now instead of keeping them in a closet.

Please forgive the crappy cellphone picture.

I rarely shoot head shots, but Erin needs some so I'm trying my best. I wish I had a lens better suited to the task.

We shot this in a parking lot on Sunset, standing between two cars. I miss my old studio.
