Magical Sunset 'n Dandylions

So, one of my neighbors claims that the orange ball at the top right is not a lens flare, but that she could see it with her naked eye and binoculars. Since it is both unidentified and flying I guess that qualifies it as a UFO, any ideas what this could be?

Sky.
The full spectrum of colors, textures and phenomenon the sky has to offer.
Clouds, sunsets, sunrises, rainbows, night shots, stars, crepuscular rays are all welcome.

Submit your quality sky shots, the sky should be the dominant subject of the photo.

Sky is never static. even on a plain blue, sunny day, it's doing something.

What i'd like people to contribute here are photos that try to capture the sky in its ever-changing, ever-amazing glory. something that caught your eye and made you take a photo.

Clouds, brilliant sunsets, sunrises, stars, the northern lights...anything that you've felt compelled to capture because what you saw at that moment resonated inside of you.

Restriction: Must have at least 50% Sky.
50% sky includes clouds.

Dare: For an extra challenge, try and classify the clouds (if you have any).

My two entries this week go together! I was walking back to the house from my husband's shop and had this orange sunset a little behind me to the right and the moonrise a little to the left ahead of me! I hadn't even read the assignment this week...what wonderful serendipity!

Carpenter Ants swarmed into our town on Wednesday. They had wings and flew in in front of a big thunderstorm. The wind was wild and the sky had a greenish tint. My friend said that at the college they made everyone turn off all electronics (computers, etc...) and that a small tornado touched down in Pendleton. I have not had confirmation of that, but it would not surprise me!
