We just planted some Reeves' Spirea by the side of the house. This flower was (the only one) still remaining when we put them in the ground. Look forward to next spring to get the full effect!

This fifth grader has a lot of talent. I noticed his work in the museum exhibit of Montgomery area children's art.

Parlor music series at Artplay is a huge success, Charlie Albright is a very talented pianist. He did a 10 min improvisation, I couldn't think of something to say for 10 min. Hearing and seeing such talent and technique a few feet away was awesome.

Joseph Henshaw was a Harvard graduate, Boston merchant and a member of the Sons of Liberty, who often met at his home. A delegate to the Leicester Committtee of Correspondence and a Colonel of Militia, Henshaw was sent by the town of Leicester to the First Massachusetts Provincial Congress in 1775.

Jenny liked her fried snapper almondine at The Bright Star for Thanksgiving.

The Bright Star, in Bessemer Alabama, received an America's Classics award from the James Beard Foundation in 2010. The restaurant is a fusion of "Greek meets Southern" per the foundation.
