On the way back from the mountains we stopped at Maihaugen. Maihaugen in Lillehammer is an open air museum with 200 old and new buildings, exhibitions, cafes and lots of activities. It was founded in 1887.

Small mountains in wide angle

This is a shot from a trip to Gressholmen i the Oslo Fjord. The rock in the front looks quite big, but it is only 2-3 feet high. The wide angle creates this funny perspective :)

The sun is rising further and further to the south, that means the area around Oslo is more and more exposed to the morning sunlight. I took a little detour on the way to work one day last week hoping to catch some cool shots of Dyna Fyr, this is one of the results :))

Went out on morning to Hvalstrand along the Oslo Fjord, where there is a lot of activity in the summer. The Sun rises nicely above Oslo in the distant horizon.

Maihaugen is a large open air museum in Lillehammer with close to 200 buildings. This old lady talked about old times and served home made butter, it was very good :))

Another shot from my trip with the guys from the Twitter Photochallenge to one of the islands in the Oslo fjord some weeks ago.

I shot this when we waited for the boat to go back to Oslo. We're standing on Gressholmen looking at Lindøya, another island in the Oslo fjord. The sun set beautifully behind the ridge rewarding us with this fine silhouette.
I always carry my 70-200mm lens with me, even when I'm hunting those landscapes. This was shot at 200mm, I might even think I'll get the 1.4x magnifier :))

Stormy Foam

The weather in this season change a lot, wind, rain, clouds and sun rewards us with a fine experience but it is beginning to getcold in the evening. Took Ludo, my Alaskan Husky, to a fine dog walking area, meaning no other dogs to worry about.

The sunset was fine, the wind produced this funny foam, just about right for a foreground object :))

On Gressholmen there are a shipyard with some cool stuff to shoot. This scene had a lot of different colors that didn't go well together, but in B&W it became quite cool, I think :)

Fireworks over Oslo
