This 8'11" 1700 lb. hollowed out bronze sculpture was made in 1960.

I think the color adds a bit to this photo over the black and white version, but the very slight change in perspective between the two makes a huge difference to me making the previously posted black and white version better.

On most afternoons the Interstate 405 seems more like a parking lot than a freeway.

The building in the forground is the Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital. The buildings up on hill are the Getty Center and Mount St. Mary's College.

The steam is coming from an air conditioning/heating system vent. The tall buildings in the distance at the upper right is downtown Los Angeles.
This shot was made at F/1.2, hence the considerable coma. I braced myself against a rock wall for the approximately 1/20s exposure.
