Taken on Sunday afternoon (11th May) for the Project 52 and the Mono MAYhem groups.

A tree in the middle of Bramble Walk, Woodhouse Park (see map) with it's leaves growing. Definitely a sign of spring......and the great Mancunian weather too!!!

Caught my eye this morning (Saturday 11th May) when I was out for the day, this is a 1961 Ford Consul and was registered in Lancashire (The "TD" mark was later given to Manchester following the 1974 reorganisation).

Seen parked in Wythenshawe, edited via the Aviary tool on Flickr for the Mono MAYhem group.

Taken on Wednesday afternoon (24th April) for the Project 52 group.

The Sun reports on pop group JLS parting ways after 4 years. They were best known for appearing on Series 5th of ITV's The X-Factor in 2008. They lost out to Alexandra Burke on the live final on Saturday 13th December 2008.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star reports that a lookalike was hired for Michael Jackson's final world tour while "the real" singer was apparently too ill to tour the world (Wether he was or wasn't prior to 2009 is up to you to discuss).

Michael Jackson died on Thursday 25th June 2009 at his home in Los Angeles following a cardiac arrest.
