The UTATA mug shots weekend project came with such serendipitous timing that this weekend project was a natural to also use as my last self-portrait for the 52 Weeks project. I borrowed my daughter's erasable scribble board as a prop (and the Mrs fancied up my flickr name on the board). :) As it turned out, I tore my shirt earlier that evening doing a chore in our attic. I was pissed as I liked that shirt and knew it was history. More serendipity for my pose! lol

I have taken self-portraits years before 52 Weeks and will continue to do so in the future but this is the end of a dedicated, timeline based self-portrait project for awhile. I'm not planning on going anywhere but it's time to focus my available photographic time on documenting things other than me and to scan some older photos of mine for digital back-up.

I wish to thank y'all for taking the time to visit, comment and fav any of my 52 Weeks photos. It's not goodbye but rather a closure on this set. Best wishes in your artistic, photographic and personal travels! :)

I see a lot of self-portraits taken in the bath tub...I'd thought I'd attempt a variation on the cliché. :)
