This is a little animation that I did. It quickly shows what I did to create a composite. I aim to make sure to get a shot correct in camera, and I aim to make sure there is as little post production needed as possible. A lot of time goes into planning the shots. But sometimes, a composite needs to be done.

Behind the scenes from a few shoots that I did in Japan.

You can see these images at the Old Truman Brewery Gallery in London. The exhibition runs until the 14th. It has work from many universities all from various different backgrounds. You can see the details in this link.

You can also see all the images in their golden frames on my new website. The images are all side by side, so you can see how I wanted them to be exhibited. The website is new, so it has certain issues I think with Windows 7.

So, finally I have finished this Romanov series. I have been working on it for a few months (with the actual image work taking a few weeks). Due to the module being counted for half my entire degree, a lot of writing, research and imagery was included into the final hand in (485pages, 70,000+ words).

All of this work will be exhibited in Cambridge for the degree show, but will also be exhibition at the London Old Truman Brewery Gallery.

All 7 prints are for sale (£250). I doubt anyone will buy them at that price, and I don't expect anyone too, but that is just covering the printing and framing costs. The prints are 12x16inch, and the frames are golden, styled towards 1800's royal portrait frames.
