Cruzada São Sebastião

A Cruzada São Sebastião é um conjunto habitacional localizado à margem oeste do Jardim de Alá, no bairro do Leblon, na zona sul da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil.
Foi inaugurada em 29 de outubro de 1955, por iniciativa de Dom Hélder Câmara, então secretário-geral da Conferência Nacional dos Bispos do Brasil (CNBB), que convenceu o então presidente da república, Café Filho, a firmar um convênio para construir o conjunto habitacional. O objetivo era fazer dali uma espécie de plano piloto, um pontapé inicial para a meta de Dom Hélder de acabar em dez anos com as 150 favelas existentes na cidade naquela época.
Os primeiros moradores eram oriundos da favela vizinha da Praia do Pinto, que foi incendiada e substituída pelo condomínio Selva de Pedra, em frente ao Paissandu Atlético Clube e à associação Atlética Banco do Brasil. O conjunto de dez prédios e 945 apartamentos foi financiado num prazo de quinze anos, em pagamentos mensais de quantias que correspondiam, nos maiores apartamentos (de dois quartos), ao correspondente a quinze por cento do salário mínimo.
O mais ilustre morador da Cruzada foi o jogador Adílio, que jogou por vários anos no Flamengo, fazendo parte do elenco mais vitorioso da história do clube. Além de Adílio, a Cruzada era moradia de vários ilustres ex-jogadores, como Júlio César "Uri Geller", Ernani ex-Vasco, Paulo Pereira ex-Vasco, Rui Rei ex-Ponte Preta e Almir ex-jogador de basquete do Flamengo.
Do conjunto, fazem parte a igreja dos Santos Anjos e a escola municipal Santos Anjos, que foram tombados pela Secretaria Extraordinária do Patrimônio Cultural em 2008,

he Crusade San Sebastian is a housing development located on the west bank of the Garden of Allah, in the neighborhood of Leblon, in the southern city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
It was inaugurated on October 29, 1955, at the initiative of Dom Helder Camara, former Secretary General of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB), who persuaded the then president, Café Filho, to sign an agreement to construct the set housing. The goal was to make there a kind of master plan, a kickoff to the goal of Dom Helder to end in ten years with the 150 slums in the city at that time.
The first residents came from the nearby slums of Praia do Pinto, who was fired and replaced by concrete jungle house, opposite the Paissandu Athletic Club Athletic Association and the Bank of Brazil. The set of ten buildings and 945 apartments have been funded within fifteen years, in monthly payments of amounts that corresponded, in the larger apartments (two rooms), corresponding to the fifteen percent of the minimum wage.
The most illustrious inhabitant of Adílio Crusade was the player who played for several years in the Flemish part of the cast of the most successful club history. Besides Adílio, the Crusade was housing several prominent former players like Julius Caesar "Uri Geller," Ernani ex-Vasco, Paulo Pereira ex-Vasco, ex-King Rui Ponte Preta and Almir former basketball player from Flamengo.
Taken together, part of the church of the Holy Angels and Holy Angels school hall, which were listed in the Special Secretariat of Cultural Heritage in 2008,
