I stacked these flowers with the ribbon. I think it worked out well. The paper beneath is of white roses. I ripped it down the edge to give it an extra appeal.

The writing below is telling of a special purple tipped white rose found in my bouquet. My grandfather told my dad that if he wasn't alive for my wedding, he was to give me a rose to remember him. We all cried when my dad gave me the rose and told me that. I lost my grandfather a year before my wedding. That was almost 5 years ago and I'm nearly in tears just talking about it now.

The florist was wonderful and added it to my bouquet.

I like this picture for many reasons. No, it isn't the most artistic or the best exposure. But it is a photo of my wedding scrapbook. I worked on this spread this weekend. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. The pearl beading was on our cake. The charm on it is of the letter C, which could stand for cake.. OR our last name. :)

I also like it because I was able to minimize the glare from the sheet protector. There was NO way I was taking this page out of the sheet protector! It was such a hassle with the pearl beading.

I also added a pattern to the pink background sheet. I used a stamp of a cake and one of a circle that said "happy day" in it and made a pattern out of it and clear stickles. It doesn't show up in the photos very well, but it does look nice.

I cut my bouquet out with an exacto knife. The swirls beneath are stamps in purple ink.

cake topper

As part of my bridal shower gifts, my mother-in-law bought me these bride and groom beanie babies. Brian and I didn't like any of the cake toppers we saw at the store. Then, I remembered this and we both thought it would fit perfectly.

uhummm..so yeah..this storage tower is really leaning...REALLY. And, no, its not the blue portfolio case on the side because I take that away..and its still leaning. hahaha I thought it was funny. I really should fix it before it breaks and half of my craft supplies are on the floor!

...and yes...this room is waaaayyy too blue! I am taking care of that this summer!
