I got a great deal on a refurbished (new overstock) 5D mark 2 for $1725 including tax through Canon's Loyalty Program (google it) so it is time for the old 5D to go. It has served me well over the 3 years I've had it and sold for more than I thought it would (it was dropped once). The sad thing is, with 21 megapixels on the mark 2, I've yet to actually use it at full resolution because the filesizes are just so huge. So now I'm finding myself shooting jpg only or at times, medium RAW (about 11 megapixels). So I am now more concerned about getting the shot done right in-camera than relying on post processing.

These shots were actually taken side by side (3 different photos) and those shadows aren't photoshopped, they were reflections off the plexiglass.

Taken in the home studio with Canon EOS 5D with EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro. It is very VERY challenging to shoot a chrome object against a pure white background. This illustrates, if done right, it's easy to use it on any color background required by the client (and is easy to cut out). The 2 on the right has some photoshop-added shadows.
