I spun a thinish bamboo single and a thick and thin merino singles and plied them together. You can kind of see how shiny the bamboo is here. These colors were really hard to photograph in our dark house.

I spun a merino singles yarn, then wrapped it around a core of cotton thread. As I wrapped I kept pushing it up so he coils are perpendicular. It's a sloooow process, but I like the resulting yarn. Too bad it took 4 days to make like 10 yards.

I used the method found here www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmlVsK6PtwI&feature=youtu.be to manage the core.

"Fruit Salad" Wensleydale from Julie Spins and the green coils are from some fiber Diem gave me. I think it's some kind of either silk or tencel blend? Challenging to make coils out of a slippery material!
