OK. I am a long time devoted Obama fan.
I have decided long ago to avoid to create any negative work.

So why have I accepted this commission?

For 3 reasons:
1. Huffington Post: Arianna Huffington (or Stassinopoulos for us Greeks :-)) has shaped the ultimate model for contemporary media houses.
2. Josh Klenert: Josh is not only one of the most innovative creative directors but he also creating the right atmosphere when you work with him. This is the 4th time we are collaborating. I had a lot of fun working with him and his team for Billboard magazine and IHeartRadio.
3. I cannot say right now. Please wait one more week. :-)
3. President Obama: The HP magazine team asked me for two portraits. It's so obvious I wanted to create the Obama one. :-)

So this is a Mitt Romney portrait made for for Huffington magazine and especially for the issue covering the GOP Convention in Tampa, Florida. It's made out of people the the journalists of HP believe they are important for his presidency.

The article is about death as a measure of legend status: how much money a star can make after he is gone. The ES people have asked me to portrait the 3 biggest losses of 2011, Steve Jobs, Amy Winehouse and Liz Taylor.
I have used US dollars for the 2 American guys and GB pounds for Amy Winehouse.

This is an old work. Made for the AC Milan season tickets promotion back in 2009 but never used.
it was the summer of 2009. Too difficult to create a mosaic of a team during the summer season. Players come and go... :-)
I stumbled upon it some days ago and thought I could share it with you.
