Mega extreme "patriotism" in ASDA. I've seen less Union Jacks at 12 July demonstrations, it was ridiculous.

Disgusting. The chips felt and tasted like foam and the sausages were black and tasteless. Eugh. The egg and the beans were OK, but I now know not to bother with Morrisons Café.*

* In all fairness, the assistant was very friendly and helpful and changed it for me for a chicken sandwich, which, again was alright. The crisps in the packet tasted manky as hell, though - but it wasn't just that packet, it was in every flavour. Oh, and there were no fillings on the chicken sandwich but chicken. Bland.

This was taken actually at the café of Millers City Cars, a well-known taxi firm in Preston. It's often used by students and by taxi drivers as a canteen. (There's a full menu on the website, by the way.)

£3.40. Includes toast (out of frame) and a slice of black pudding I had added on. Better than the fry of last week I think.
