This big predator spotted me from 400 yards and nearly lost 30 feet of altitude and a large measure of cool trying get away from me and my big glass eye ball.

Shifting sands at the south Manistee beach with downed port-a-pottie ;)

Sustained wind of 50+mph on shore, waves reaching 15+ft, and you could even see dragons in der sea, arrrrgggh.

Big storm... No kidding.

South Manitou - Saturday morning was dreamy fog everywhere. While shooting the lighthouse I met a woman who's friend was born in this house. I shot this for her.

When I either find my notes or get contact information I'll put names where they should be.

The previous image was created from a single frame, this one was from a five frame bracket and combined in Photomatix.

25-35mph 12+ winds. Everything was frozen or snow-crystalized. Truly beautiful.
