5/16/2013: I'm really liking this neon filter in PicsArt. I like to almost abstract feel of this processing. This is the start of a long weekend for me; I took tomorrow off so I can catch up on some things. The original photo was taken at sunset tonight when the marine layer was coming in.

Even though I've read this book series several times, I still enjoy rereading it. Books are like good friends and should be visited often. (^_^) This happens to be an excellent series by Michelle Sagara.

5/15/2013: I saw this paw print on my windshield this morning. I wonder what the raccoon was looking for... Maybe he was chatting with our outdoor Calico kitty. Her paws were on the other side of my windshield.

I used an HDR filter and darkened the shot so you could see the outline of Raccoon-san's paw print in PicsPlay Pro.

5/13/2013: I got a new bracelet from Jewelmint & everything that I bought from this site has been of a really good quality. This bracelet - not so much - it broke when I was trying it on. The rhinestone part was one whole piece with no flexibility so when I tried to flex my wrist it cracked. Good thing I'm a crafty kind of person. I super glued a piece of felt to the back to reconnect the pieces and then added the gear to hide the crack. Since the bracelet was on sale and I knew I could fix it, I wasn't super upset. Although, I will email them and tell them of the problem with the bracelet.

Even though I'm making my nephew's outfit for his Sword of a Stranger cosplay. I am him having make the sandals for it. These are based on the traditional Japanese straw sandals called Waraji. I found the instructions for it here: www.instructables.com/id/Make-your-own-Bleach-Cosplay-san.... Instructables is an awesome site and these instructions were really well done.

Another busy day and I forgot to bring Pony & friends with me. It started off busy: morning walk to breakfast at Bab's and then a whole bunch of errands to get fabric and supplies for my nephew's cosplay for the up-coming Fanime. I'm making his Sword of a Stranger costume. He's going to be Nanashi (or No Name) - the main character of the anime. It's an excellent anime and I do highly recommend it. And it's also a good thing that Pony & Co stayed home in the A/C today. It was 93º today, no breeze and very hot under the sun. *Ick* We do have air conditioning in the car but it was so hot & muggy that walking around not very nice.
