I feel like I am always making excuses for not taking time to visit all my contacts photos...I do try to check in with a bunch each day but never catch up...sorry..

I did the "join Getty" thing a while ago and they just requested 24 more of the images I recently submitted (flattering) so now I have to go find them on my hard drives. I had edited a few in picnik (so they were downsized for flickr) so hopefully I can reproduce the effects in PSE9...and it is going to be a beach day...I must get started...hope everyone is having a wonderful summer

The weather here has been up and down..warm and cold.....fall is coming and the trees are starting to color the horizons...this little Virginia Creeper caught my eye when the sun came out on Saturday morning as I was heading to my compost pile in the backyard...

Getting ready for St. Patrick's Day??? In Nova Scotia it is not such a huge deal, but every time we have been in the US on March 17for our March break, we have been surprised to see how much everyone celebrates .. we have joined in, enjoying everything from green mashed potatoes to green beer and green nacho chips..

There are several wonderful Heather's in my life..my smart, gorgeous daughter-in-law, my clever, competent, efficient and sweet fellow guidance counsellor at work, my old coffee buddy who has moved away, and a great learning center teacher at work. Whenever I tell my hubby about something that happened with "Heather" I always have to clarity.

This pretty pink Heather is the first thing blooming in my garden, but it was -5C when I decided to get a photo so I took a piece indoors ;-)

I am tired of cold weather...

Well, a little pot of mini iris for $5.00 at the local mall on Sunday. They are about 5 inches tall with blossoms about an inch in size...sooo cute!
