Couldn't sleep the other night so I sketched a few studies of some faces that Rockwell made in his paintings. Any Rockwell fans out there able to guess which ones?

Since my daughter was old enough to hold a pen, she's loved to draw. When she was little, my sisters used to let her draw on their arms with markers, jokingly referring to it as getting "tattooed".

For some strange reason, this tradition has stuck, and even though my daughter is now a teenager, she still draws on her aunts whenever we all get together.

On one of these occasions, my grandmother happened to be present. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, she requested a tattoo of her own. When my daughter asked her what she would like drawn on her skin, my grandmother replied "I'd like a handsome young man for a gutsy old lady!"
