Wat Mongkolratanaram Tampa, Florida. It is a full moon festival where they float krathongs on the river in thankfulness for water. A krathong is a small lotus-shaped vessel made of banana leaves, flowers, candles, and three incense sticks. They are floated in the dark. Actually most of the ones I saw seemed to be paper. Anyone was allowed to participate. This is a Theravada Buddhist Temple

The krathong have caught under the dock.

Lighthouse

Actually the lighthouse is in Ponce de Leon Inlet just south of Daytona. As seen from the Marine Science Center. Those are people up there. It is difficult to walk around it because of the wind so you have to do a sort of run so I'm told. It is the tallest lighthouse in Florida and the second tallest in the USA.

This is the pavement you drive onto the beach from. Normally there would be a booth here to collect money. The potty was for the person working it. The green posts are where cars park heading into them with the traffic lanes beyond and the beach beyond that.
