...or at least when mom is in the car. Here we are on our way to the Pinewood Derby races for Big Monkeys Cub Scouts. While we were waiting for Hubby to get in the car Brass Monkey (one of his favorites) came on and Big Monkey started singing so I took a pic of him before he realized what I was doing.

The doctor said that I would feel better a couple of days after starting my antibiotics...that's a couple of days too long for me.

As a SAHM, I don't have the luxury of calling in sick and having someone else care for my kiddos or clean my house for that matter. When I'm sick the whole house goes to heck.

I thought I had a cold and was not feeling well for over a week. I had just went to the doctors earlier. I finally decided to go to the doctor because my throat was irritated so bad I thought I had strep. What I initially thought was a cold and then strep was actually a sinus infection, a really bad one.

That's right. I've had these slippers for around 23 or so years. My sister and I each received a pair of these for Christmas many years ago. I still have mine...I just can't seem to get rid of them.

My throat feels as though it is about to explode. I have had problems with my throat since I was a teen and now I fear that it is getting bad a again.

I made this necklace. The charm was given to me as a gift and the chain that came with it was way too long for me so I went to the bead store and picked up the crystals to make the necklace. I also made a matching bracelet.

Those who know me, know that I'm not big on wearing jewelry. Most days I have a pair of earrings (that rarely come off) and my wedding and engagement ring.

Tonight was a special night for Big Monkey. It was his Blue and Gold dinner for Cub Scouts.

I'm really not one to make resolutions at the beginning of the year. When there is something that I think I should do to make my life better, I start working on it right away, why put it off? In addition to playing sports, I try to work out regularly (at least 3x's/week).

I have been somewhat of a bump on a log lately though. I had not done anything other than soccer for about three and a half weeks. This was after my second jog this week (on the treadmill). Next week I will start on the hills again.

Really I do. It was after 2 AM and I had to be up in a little more than four hours. I think I ended up getting around two and a half hours of good sleep. I really need to work on this little problem of mine.
