Today was the big day of our friends' Matilda and Alex's wedding. Before the actual church ceremony Tine, Sven and I walked to some nice spots in Helsingborg to take shots of the couple. And as both of them were pretty nervous they fooled around a lot and we had tons of fun.

I traded a shirt for this really cool, old Polaroid camera on the flea market the other day and played around with it for a while. Tine has tons of expired Polaroid film she can't use for her Hasselblad Polaroid-back anymore so I didn't even have to buy film yet. This old GDR-van is a promo for one of our customers, a flower shop, and it's parked right behind the highway exit on my way to work. I've been wanting to take a picture of it for quite a while now, esp. when the weather was fantastic, but I think clouds in the back also kinda add something to the picture. It's a 1:1 scan from the original Polaroid, all I did in PS is straighten it and change the image size.

Back in Berlin and the beginning of another not too exciting week at work = nothing great going on today. This old lady lives right across the street from us. I kinda like when she steps out on the balcony and keeps an eye on what's going on in the outside world. She lived here before I moved in and probably even did way before this district became the hip and trendy part everybody wants to live at. She probably doesn't even know and most likely wouldn't give a crap … Respect to the elderly!

And yet again I'm a week behind in my 365-project, but at least I took pictures every single day. I just need time for editing them. Anyways, after dropping me off at work the other day Tine found this huge poppy field and when she picked me up at work today we made a stop there and took tons of pictures. The field spread on both sides of the road so we had to be careful not to be run over by some speeding truck …

Tine and I went to Poland today which is only about a 15-minute-drive from where her parents live. We actually wanted to buy a nice plant for my bosse's garden as a thank you gift, but unfortunately the hardware store we went to didn't have to offer what we were looking for … which does not mean they didn't offer nice flowers, like these. I have no idea what they are called but they looked kinda nice and somewhat desaturated even without Photoshop …

Tine and I went to her parents' lace over the weekend since she had two dance performances there. I knew that right after we leave the freeway there are really big and beautiful fields right next to the road. I was hoping to catch some sunset, too, but wasn't sure if we'd make it in time because there's that huge construction site on the freeway causing long traffic jams every day … but it seems like we just arrived at the right time. Unfortunately the poppies weren't as far as I hope they'd be but anyways …

Tine and I spent the whole day cleaning the house, something that was long overdue. In the process we also re-arranged the dinner table with flowers and the new IKEA fruit bowl. It feels so good to be in a freshly cleaned home!

Tine and I spent the weekend at her parents' again. We planned to have another relaxing summer weekend with bike tours and hanging out at the lake and stuff. Unfortunately summer took a little break today and it was raining cats and dogs all day long. Tines parents have that plant, or is it a flower, in their garden and again I have no idea what it is. But I know for sure that it looked pretty cool with all the raindrops rolling off of it.

Yes, flowers again … but it's that time of the year and I just like how colorful everything is around me. Tine and I found those on the way from the car back to our house. Nothing that really says much about my day but anyways …
