&lt;p&gt;I thought I'd provide a bit of balance to yesterday's Islamic bookish image with a shot of a couple of Judaic titles from my bookshelf.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The &lt;i&gt;Tanakh&lt;/i&gt; is of course fundamentally important to Judaism and needs no explanation. The other title offers a fascinating insight into the Hasidic community in New York, and the 'rebels' who are turning their back on the strictly orthodox way of life. Wholly recommended!&lt;/p&gt;</description>
