at Connolly Station, Dublin. There's something fascinating about this scene, in spite of - or maybe because of - the dreary and gloomy feel I get from it.

I think my least favourite light is the kind of orange indoor light I experimented with here. That being said, I'm pleasantly surprised by how it turned out to shoot film in this place. I love the grainy feel and quality of the light here, and the orange is much less glaring in this image than when I've been shooting there with a digital camera - compare this unedited, digital image from the same place.

Composition-wise, this is a type of composition I really, really enjoy, with the converging lines and the vanishing point.

I'd be very interested to hear what people think of this image. It is shot on film and therefore completely unedited except to crop away the tiny lines from the sloppy scanning.

Composition-wise, I'm unhappy with the horizon line being square in the middle like that. I can see why I went for it - wanting to keep the rails in the foreground and avoid all the uninteresting matter between me and the rails - but I do think make for a static composition.

I was mostly using the Sunny 16 rule when I was out shooting that day, and it mostly worked fine except that some images seem a tad bit underexposed. Is this the case here - do you think the middle part with the hills behind the train station is too dark?

Any comments on these questions or any others would be much appreciated :)

Spotted this coming off the train at Gardermoen airport today. I wonder what's the story behind it?

I spent Christmas Eve in Lillehammer with my father's family, and today I travelled via Gardermoen to Årnes to spend Christmas Day with my mother's family. Now I'm back home, exhausted but happy, and not to mention full! I love my family, but there is a whole lot of them, and it is always such a relief to come home to our quiet apartment.
