Went to a wedding today, actually invited me ;) I wasn't the official photographer and tried to stay out of their way while getting a few shots of my own. More relaxed not being the photographer and gave me the chance to take some more high risk of not working slow exposures which have come out a bit arty. Here is one of the sharp ones converted to B&W on a duplicate layer then bumped with Topaz Adjust5 and part of the B&W layer erased to expose the colour underneath. Have just finished cropping and processing for 220 photos and nearly midnight so catch you tomorrow. Thanks very much for any comments and hope your weekend is going well.

Before the "new" bridge (see previous photo) one crossed the old bridge then went up a well defended narrow lane.

Not much passing room and after the gate a hairoin bend to the right!

Driving home from work I noticed this cloud and took a side road to see if I could find a foreground to set it off against. Going to work I would not have deviated of course.
B&W conversion in Photoshop. Topaz "Crisp" filter lightly applied. Sky treated to a touch of Noise Ninja.

This is Butterfly Bay (Te Awa Mokihi in Maori) where for centuries canoes landed with their catch of fish for the village nearby. The red mud was mixed with shark oil to make a protecting paint for the body.

Another Moeraki Boulder shot taken the same morning as the one below. These boulders formed in mud under the sea taking 5 million years to form and fall out of the cliff above the beach. Or as Wikipaedia puts it "concretions created by the cementation of the Paleocene mudstone of the Moeraki Formation, from which they have been exhumed by coastal erosion."
