We took a quick return trip to Yosemite after the Glacier Point road had been cleared of snow. This isn't as dangerous as it looks, just careful cropping. This is a view from the top of Sentinel Dome.

This had been a small stream, but now almost all the surface water is gone. The flowers were wilting but the color was still there.

This is a view from along the Upper Yosemite Falls trail. We had already climbed over 1000 feet to reach this point. The next photo gives perspective to the size by zooming out from the same spot.

Four years ago March, the river was so much lower that Tom took my photo sitting on top of the rock in the middle of the river.

By the time I got this set up, the light was quickly fading, however you can still faintly see El Capitan framed by the branches.

Though we've been to Yosemite several times, we've never been to Hetch Hetchy. At first we were concerned it was going to be a miss because it wasn't very scenic getting there (in comparison to the rest of Yosemite) but it vastly improved once we got there. Here we are at the base of Wapama Falls.

The water actually flowed across parts of the bridge.
This is the dry side of the bridge and even here there is a lot of mist.

I wanted to bring the eye out so I kept trying different things and now this is so heavily processed, I don't remember how I got here. I just kept piling layer after layer, blending, filtering and masking - and here it is.
