My childhood memories revisited!

Please no comment as I am not ready to reciprocate yet,
I do comment here and there but I do it only at random.
Some friends asked me what I was carving,
Well this is a little boat carved out of pine bark driftwood,
the last time I carved one of these I was nine,
my dear Mom send me to Summer camp a place called Maronia,
only 20 minutes from our city, thats where Jason an the Argonauts
gave cyclops some of that delicious wine:-)
I am sure everyone knows the rest of the story,
Maron was a Greek god also King of the Thracians,
thus the name on the boat to honor him.
Btw I was 9 the last time I carved on of these little boats,

From Montauk week ago, my nephew had great fun with the waves,
so did I:-) on few like this I waited till last moment having
the camera water level and scrambled to save myself after I took the shot...LOL
I got many splashes on my camera, thank God no damage,
Not only once but about 100 times:-)

Every morning when I come home from work I say

then I go outside and say one huge good morning to all my flowers,

On Monday morning we got up at 4 am and headed to the lighthouse,
We were all set for the sunrise but all we got was this fog,
My Nephews wanted to do some fishing from the rocks but the waves were very bad,
No sunrise no fish, all I got this night shot of the light house,
